Yaskawa's US headquarters in Miamisburg, Ohio anchors a service network that, like most Japanese OEMs, is built for depth in a few regions rather than breadth across 50 states.
The Motoman maintenance reality
Yaskawa Motoman robots (GP series, HC series, AR series) require a predictable maintenance cadence: grease replenishment every 7,500-10,000 hours, battery backup replacement every 2-3 years, cable harness inspection annually, and brake inspection on vertical-axis joints. The DX200/YRC1000 controllers need firmware updates that sometimes require physical access to the teach pendant.
